We're excited to share that Alan Benfield Ltd has successfully completed the Atrium Concourse lighting upgrade at East Midlands Parkway Train Station at Ratcliffe On Soar. From desktop Relux design to on-site installation, our team delivered a seamless transition to a more energy-efficient and visually appealing lighting solution. It's always good to see a project come to life!
Key highlights of the project include:
💡Bespoke LED linear fittings with specifically designed optics to enhance the light quality and ambience.
🔌Utilisation of existing circuits, with new bracketry installed to suit the fittings for cost-effective implementation.
🔦Compliance with CIBSE lighting guidelines, including 3D renders to visualise the final result before installation.
🔆Upgrading from 250w SON halogen fittings to energy efficient 162w LED fittings, making the space brighter and more welcoming.
🚶🏼♂️Working within a challenging environment which sees hundreds of travelling passengers pass through on a daily basis as part of their commute.
The end result is a more sustainable and visually great space that will benefit both visitors and staff for years to come.
