amy76621

We are thrilled to announce the completion of our latest project at St. Matthew's Church, a stunning Grade-1 listed building steeped in history and set in a beautiful, mature churchyard. Rebuilt in the 14th and 15th centuries, this iconic structure was a challenging but incredibly rewarding project for our team.

Key highlights of the project include:

🔌 Lighting Upgrades: Removal of outdated SON 400w fittings and installation of energy-efficient LED track angular spot lighting, enhancing lighting levels while highlighting dedicated memorabilia, medieval brasses, and monuments.

Power Circuit Rewiring & Board Upgrades: Complete rewiring of power circuits throughout the building, along with SPN distribution board and main bonding upgrades, ensuring both safety and modern efficiency.

🏗 Bespoke Scaffolding & Phased Approach: Working with precision, we erected bespoke scaffolding for safe access to high-level areas. A phased approach was implemented to ensure no disruption to Sunday services, with work completed and scaffolding removed each week.

📋 Approval Process: All installations were approved by the architect, DCC, and the church warden, ensuring the project aligned with the church's heritage and requirements.

Despite the challenging environment, our engineers have demonstrated outstanding diligence and professionalism, executing the project with care and respect for this historic site.

We’re proud to have been part of preserving the beauty and functionality of St. Matthew's Church for future generations.
